Reinforcing our mission and aligned with our pillar of Global Citizenship, Eleva School has a Scholarship Program aimed at low-income children and adolescents. The Program is managed by Instituto Janelas Abertas, an independent, non-profit organization.

Janelas Abertas conducts a thorough selection process to identify and select youngsters aligned with the school values based on three criteria: financial need, excellent academic track record and education-based family values. In addition to promoting access to quality education, our Scholarship Program encourages diversity and exchange in the classroom, enabling learning and interaction between students from different social backgrounds.

In 4 years, our Scholarship Program has already impacted more than 100 students with a family income per capita of around 1 minimum wage. Over the years, the Program’s students have won more than 30 medals in academic competitions, such as OMERJ, OBM and OBL, and sports, such as PSG Academy Cup and AMB Volleyball Cup; they occupied 6 vacancies in immersion programs at international universities, such as MIT, Harvard, Cambridge, and Amherst; and 100% acceptance rates to renowned national and international universities, such as UFRJ, UERJ, PUC, USP, and Dartmouth College, University of Pennsylvania and NYU Abu Dhabi.

We hope to transform more and more lives through education working together with Janelas Abertas!
