IPC – International Primary Curriculum
The IPC is a British curriculum used in more than 90 countries and 1,800 schools and also adopted by the primary school at Eleva. It is a complete interdisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes personal and academic skills, in addition to presenting an international perspective.
IPC classes are organized into block of 8 to 10 weeks, called units, structured within a common theme. The themes are designed to be stimulating for students, improving the learning experience. This methodology allows the teacher greater autonomy to make connections among the different areas of knowledge and to adopt best practices as the course progresses. An extensive network of teachers around the world actively shares materials and resources, like links, videos and lesson plans, promoting a continuous process of refinement of the curriculum.
