Our school is directed by an executive council made up of the principal leadership of the Eleva Group.

Duda Falcão
Council President
A graduate in Business Administration from the University of Virginia in the US, Duda is a founding partner at Gera Venture, a fund focused 100% on education. Currently, she is co-CEO of the Eleva Educação group, in addition to her position at Escola Eleva. She began her career as a consultant for McKinsey, worked at the PCP-UBS Pactual and at the Municipal Department of Education of Rio de Janeiro, coordinating strategic projects for early years education. Duda loves sports, runs daily and is mom to twins, Maria Clara and João Felipe.
Márcio Cohen
Director of Pedagogical Council
Engineer by trade, Educator by profession and passion. With diplomas from IME, IMPA and MIT, in addition to a degree in Mathematics, he is dad to Alex and now has the gratifying challenge of educating at home and at school. He has worked as a math teacher and served as a school director at Pensi, as well as working as a strategic consultant for McKinsey, before returning to Brazil as a leader of Eleva Educação. He is one of the responsible parties in the conceptualization of Escola Eleva. Currently, Márcio Cohen’s main objective is to guarantee the materialization and integration of the three pillars of the school: academic excellence, life skills and global citizenship.
Antonia Mendes
Director of Marketing at Eleva Educação
Antonia Beatriz Mendes de Almeida Silva has an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in addition to a degree in Industrial Design from PUC-Rio, and is an alumna of the British School in Rio de Janeiro. She directs the marketing team at Grupo Eleva, developing positioning and communications strategies for all of the group’s brands. She was brand leader for Neutrogena in Brazil and managed innovation projects for Johnson & Johnson’s line of sun protection products (São Paulo 2010-2014). She was the artistic director at the Artplan agency (Rio de Janeiro 2006-2008) and worked as a designer at the Editora Outo Sobre Azul (2004-2006). She began her career as a videographer at the Globo network (2002-2004).

Rodrigo Villard
Director of Innovation
Director of Innovation and Pedagogical Leader for High-Performing Students at Eleva Educação. Studied Mathematics at UFRJ, completed secondary education at the Colégio Militar and Pensi.

Founding partner of Gera Venture, studied Law at PUC, graduated from the British School.
